IMV’s Direct Coupling top cover can work with any chamber. The only requirement is that the chamber floor has a circular opening to match the diameter of the Shaker’s Top Cover & a silicone diaphragm. See image below:
The advantage here, is that irrespective of the displacement of the shaker, the pressure inside the chamber is not changing a lot.
The opposite is with a “traditional solution” (see image below), where the Thermal Barrier’s face works as a piston applying high pressure to the inside of the chamber and in shakers with large displacement (3˝ or 4˝) & high Sine Velocity (2.4m/s) can be dangerous to break the chamber.
